Advisory packages are quoted in writing, one company at a time. There is no published price list for the Diagnostic, the 90-Day Growth Plan, the Retainer or Oversight, because their size depends on your company. What we do publish is how quotes are built, and the prices for marketing execution through our sister business HVAC.Agency, in case a package concludes that you need it.

How an advisory quote is built
Each package is priced on four things, and the written proposal shows all four:
- Size of the business. Number of trucks, staff and service areas.
- State of the data. Clean job-software exports take less time than a shoebox of invoices.
- Breadth of the question. One focused problem costs less than a whole-company review.
- Access between calls. For plans and retainers, how much phone, text and email support you want.
The Business Diagnostic and 90-Day Growth Plan are quoted as fixed fees. The Advisory Retainer is a monthly fee, month to month, with no lock-in. Marketing and Vendor Oversight is quoted as a one-off fee or a quarterly fee.
If you also want marketing carried out: HVAC.Agency plans
The plans below are published on the HVAC.Agency pricing page. They pay for marketing work being done, not for advice, and we always propose them separately from a package. The descriptions here are our summaries; the HVAC.Agency page has the full detail.
| Plan | Monthly price | In short |
|---|---|---|
| Starter | $2,998 | A website built around SEO service pages, local SEO and your Google Business Profile, an entry-level Google and Meta ads setup, hosting, maintenance and a monthly report |
| Growth | $4,498 | The Starter work, plus deeper SEO and content, paid ads across several channels with retargeting, CRM integration, review generation and a weekly report |
| Elite | $8,998 | The Growth work, plus video, PR outreach, a dedicated account manager, a live dashboard, a strategy call each month and reporting built to your needs |
Websites can also be bought as one-time builds:
| Website | One-time price | Pages and timing | Ongoing care |
|---|---|---|---|
| Essential | $3,500 | 5–7 custom pages, about 2–3 weeks | $149 a month for hosting and maintenance |
| Professional | $6,500 | 10–15 pages designed to convert, about 3–4 weeks | $249 a month for hosting, maintenance and CRO |
| Enterprise | $12,500 | No page or location limit, about 4–6 weeks | $449 a month for full management |
All prices are in Canadian dollars. Owners add GST/HST for their province, with GST and QST in Quebec.
How to decide what to spend on advice
A useful rule: an advisory package should be priced against the size of the problem it addresses, not against your marketing budget. A worked example: if a diagnostic finds that slow quote follow-up is losing six $9,000 replacements a year, the problem is worth about $54,000 in annual revenue. At a 40% gross margin, that is roughly $21,600 a year in gross profit. A package that fixes it should cost a clear fraction of that, and the proposal should show that arithmetic.
If the numbers don't support a package, we'll say so. Sometimes the right answer is the free HVAC.Agency trial, a single session with Ali through HVACConsultant.ca, or simply working through our guides on your own.
What every quote includes in writing
Whichever package you choose, the written quote covers the same ground, so you can compare it with any other adviser's proposal line by line:
- the package, its scope and what is excluded
- the timeline, with start and end dates or the monthly cycle
- the fee, payment schedule and GST/HST
- who leads the work (Ali Sedighi) and any specialist help, named and agreed
- notice terms for monthly packages
- confirmation that reports, plans and any accounts set up belong to you
Before you ask for a quote
Gather last year's revenue by service type, your average ticket, an idea of monthly call volume and what you spend on marketing and software. Then call, text or email. The FAQ covers contracts, timelines and ownership, and the contact page explains what to include in your first message.
Frequently asked questions
Why don't you publish a price for each package?
Because the scope depends on the size of the company and how much data exists. A diagnostic for a three-truck shop with one spreadsheet is a different job from one for a 40-person company with five years of job history. Every quote is fixed and written before you commit.
Is there a free option?
The HVAC.Agency 7-day free trial is a no-cost digital marketing audit, website performance check, SEO analysis and competitor benchmarking, with no credit card required. It is a good way to see how we think before buying a package.
Do prices include sales tax?
No. Advisory fees are in Canadian dollars, plus GST/HST based on your province (GST and QST in Quebec).
Are there setup fees or cancellation fees?
Fees for your engagement are set out in your written proposal, so ask about anything unclear before you accept it. Retainers run month to month with no lock-in, and the notice period is written into the agreement.
